Know where I might find a small rectangular kitchen table?
I currently have a 40″ round table and four chairs in my dinette space but it is too wide and takes up too much room. The area I need the table and 4 chairs for is long and narrow. Most rectangular tables are at least 36″ wide, which is too wide. I need something around 32″. I would prefer something in black wood. I have shopped the internet and found one at Sears. Then I got a notice that it was out of stock and would not be in until May or June and I cannot wait that long. I think I have been to every link on the internet trying to find something but they are all too wide. If I have to, I could go with white or gray. I prefer at least the bottom cushion be padded, but it does not have to be. I also need two 24″ Bar Stools. If Anyone has any idea where I could find this table, please let me know! I am desperate. Just remolded my kitchen and had no idea the table would be so hard to find. I would appreicate any help!
If you are looking for something inexpensive, try walmart or k-mart online. They have some smaller tables. Also, There are some stores that sell unfinished furniture like “Good Wood” who can get about any size and you could stain it the color you want or have someone stain it for you. They are very reasonable. Have you tried a store called Crate and Barrel? They sell small pieces of wooden furniture like table sets. You may be able to special order one from one of your local furniture stores. but, I think I have seen something similar in walmart. I would check there first. Hope this helps!
